Strategic merger completed: Dynamate and VanRoey merge under the name Dynamate

The two Belgian IT companies will merge to form one integrated IT group for managed IT services under the name Dynamate.

Passendale/Turnhout, June 30, 2026 – IT service providers Dynamate and VanRoey have received the green light for their strategic merger. Both companies will consolidate their operations into a single, integrated IT group for managed IT services, which will continue under the name Dynamate. The merger is part of a clear strategic vision: to grow together into a leading, integrated managed IT partner for medium-sized and large organizations and government agencies in Belgium. Services provided to customers will remain unchanged, and there will be no operational impact.

Complementarity, customer value, and scale

The merger is based on the strong complementarity between the two organizations. VanRoey and Dynamate share a similar vision and corporate culture and focus on medium-sized organizations, large companies, and government agencies. At the same time, they complement each other in terms of geographic presence and expertise.

The integration process will result in a single, integrated IT group, ensuring that both SMEs and large enterprises receive optimal support. By combining the expertise and in-depth industry knowledge of both companies, a broader and more deeply integrated offering will be created for all customers: from infrastructure and security to business applications, managed services, e-commerce, and AI innovation.

Joachim Lauwers

“From now on, we’ll be able to support our customers even better,” says Joachim Lauwers, CEO of the new Dynamate Group. “Thanks to the strong complementarity of our businesses, organizations can now count on a broader, even more specialized, and future-oriented offering with sufficient scale to continue investing. This will enable us to support companies even better in these challenging times, particularly in the areas of AI and security.”

A Sustainable Belgian Growth Story

Dynamate is an IT group headquartered in Passendale with offices in Roeselare, Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Ghent, Bruges, Genk, and Kortrijk. For more than 40 years, the company has been the family life’s work of Marc Christiaens and is now being further developed by the second generation—his sons Olivier and Alexander Christiaens—together with the management team. Since 2020, private equity firm Sofindev has also been a shareholder.

Dynamate supports both SMEs and large companies in their digital transformation, offering an integrated portfolio organized into three complementary business units that together cover the entire digital and IT value chain: from business applications (ERP, CRM, and WMS), through cloud and ICT infrastructure, security, and the modern workplace, to online and mobile (e-commerce) applications and digital marketing. This results in a single, integrated ecosystem in which strategy, technology, and execution align seamlessly. In recent years, Dynamate has grown through acquisitions of Harmonize IT, denk IT, Esign, and Make it Fly.

VanRoey, founded in 1993 by Pat Van Roey, has grown into a well-established managed IT service provider with its headquarters in Turnhout and offices in Geel, Antwerp, Mechelen, Houthalen, Zele, and Oostkamp. The company supports medium-sized organizations, large enterprises, and government agencies with solutions related to (cloud) infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, business applications, and managed services.

VanRoey is known for its strong focus on providing peace of mind for its customers thanks to in-depth vertical ICT expertise, strong partnerships, its own Security Operations Center (SOC), and a comprehensive range of managed services. In 2022, Fortino Capital became a shareholder to support the company’s continued growth. Joachim Lauwers has been at the helm as CEO since 2024. Over the past year, VanRoey has expanded in Limburg, West Flanders, and East Flanders through the acquisitions of Group K, Sonical, and The Collective, respectively.

Both companies are and will remain 100% Belgian, with Flemish roots and Flemish shareholders. The current family shareholders, management, Sofindev, and Fortino Capital will all continue to hold stakes in the new Dynamate.
