Duco Sickinghe

Duco co-founded Fortino Capital in 2013, following a 30-year career in technology and telecommunications. As Executive Chairman, he provides strategic guidance and continuity, working closely with founders to sharpen strategy, culture, and growth so that teams can scale smartly and sustainably.

Before Fortino, Duco spent over a decade as CEO of Belgian broadband provider Telenet, after roles at Wolters Kluwer and NeXT Computer, where he worked alongside Steve Jobs. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard and later served as Chairman of the Board at KPN and Senior Advisor to CVC Capital Partners. Today, he holds multiple board mandates.

Duco holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master of Laws from Utrecht University.
