Jo Altman

Jo Altman joined Fortino Capital in March 2022 and works in close partnership with Jo Wilkinson to support management teams across Fortino’s Private Equity and Venture Capital portfolios. Her focus is on helping PE-backed companies attract, assess, and secure senior and executive talent aligned with their value creation and growth plans.

Since joining Fortino, Jo has supported 240+ hires across the portfolio alongside Jo Wilkinson, contributing to more than €3 million in avoided recruitment agency fees. She has personally partnered with 15 portfolio companies and directly delivered around 100 placements, working closely with CEOs and leadership teams during periods of transformation, professionalisation, and scale.

Jo brings over a decade of experience across executive recruiting, advisory, and coaching roles within the global technology ecosystem. Prior to Fortino, she advised enterprise leaders and technology vendors at Gartner and is a trained Co-Active Career Coach. This background enables her to combine rigorous talent assessment with a strong understanding of leadership dynamics, team effectiveness, and organisational design.

Jo is known for her structured, pragmatic approach to hiring and for acting as a trusted partner to management teams on critical leadership and capability decisions, ensuring organisations can execute against their value creation plans with confidence.
