Jo Wilkinson

Jo Wilkinson joined Fortino Capital in 2021 as Talent Acquisition Partner and was instrumental in establishing Fortino’s Talent Acquisition capability within the Operations team. She works in close partnership with Jo Altman, with both supporting portfolio companies across the VC and Private Equity portfolios.

Together, Jo Wilkinson and Jo Altman have supported the placement of 240+ hires across the Fortino portfolio, spanning roles from medior level through to executive and C-suite. Jo has personally partnered with 21 portfolio companies and directly delivered approximately 150 placements, while helping reduce reliance on external recruitment agencies.

The Talent Acquisition Partners work end to end with PE-backed companies — from hiring strategy and workforce planning, to employer positioning, process design, recruitment technology implementation, and hands-on delivery of critical roles. This approach has generated over €3 million in avoided agency fees across the portfolio.

Jo brings 28 years of recruitment experience, having worked across startups, scale-ups, and large enterprise environments prior to joining Fortino Capital. Her focus is on building sustainable hiring capabilities that enable management teams to execute value creation plans and scale with confidence.
