Toon Smets

Toon joined Fortino Capital in 2020 and has over a decade of experience in private equity and corporate finance. He focuses on deal origination, execution and portfolio management across the Benelux. During his time at Fortino, Toon has worked on a number of investments including Bizzmine, BlueRock TMS, Cenosco, Cerrix, Nétive, Tenzinger and VanRoey.

Prior to joining Fortino Capital, Toon worked as a Manager in PwC’s Transaction Services practice.

Toon holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from KU Leuven.
